Stop due to coronavirus is over. All departments restarted.
Dall'Era Valerio has restarted production of brass nuts
Dall'Era Valerio has restarted all departments for the production of brass nuts and other components. Following the Italian government's recent decision to end the total lockdown, the entirety of the Italian industrial fabric has been allowed to reopen. The mandatory closure was established by the authorities in March, abruptly halting work.
Production, deliveries, logistics and every other activity saw a forced but necessary stop of several weeks. We used this period to prepare intensively for a fully safe reopening. An extraordinary sanitization of all offices and the entire plant, workstations and equipment was done. In addition, the premises have been reorganized so that work can be resumed in the safest way and in accordance with current regulations.
The restart of brass nut production in complete safety
The restart of brass nut production took place in total compliance with a strict safety protocol. We are working by respecting physical spacing between employees, wearing masks, applying sanitation devices in all rooms, and controlling body temperature. The company's first concern is not to jeopardize the safety of workers. Authorities have imposed a reopening with strict restrictions on all Italian operations. Dall'Era Valerio is therefore taking scrupulous care to create conditions for a safe environment.
The resumption of production activity to satisfy international customers
Production activity is gradually catching up with orders from international customers. Several orders have been inevitably delayed. However, now the production line, which houses more than 50 machines, is gradually resuming operations. In normal times, volumes are around 1.3 million pieces per day. Around the world, many companies have restarted and need the brass components. Among the sectors that are recovering, albeit slowly, are plumbing, gas, cooling equipment, faucets and valves.
The safety of our employees through specific insurance against coronavirus
Our hope is that we can return to normalcy by succeeding in completely eradicating the coronavirus. The priority remains people's health. The work, while necessary, must be able to be carried out with peace of mind by our employees. For this reason, we have taken out coronavirus insurance extended to all our employees, an additional tool to counter the harmful effects of the pandemic. The safety of our employees is a priority, and the company's effort falls on making the environment as serene and protected as possible.
