The Dall'Era Valerio has joined the ITS project in mechatronics promoted by Confindustria Brescia. The path sees the awareness of industries and institutions in the area for the training of increasingly strategic professional figures. As is customary, companies, including Dall'Era Valerio, are involved on a dual track, both expressing interest in future job placement and in the implementation of educational activities. In fact, we have advanced an interest in increasing the workforce with a mechatronics technician in the next three years. In addition, we have also made ourselves available to carry out training activities at the plant.

Training of higher technicians for automation and industrial mechatronic systems.

At the headquarters of the Territorial Laboratory for Employability in Lonato del Garda, the third two-year ITS course for automation and industrial mechatronic systems kicked off. On Oct. 21, 2020, students and teachers attended a presentation given by Raffaele Crippa, director of the ITS Lombardy Mechatronics Foundation, Stefania Battaglia, IIS Cerebotani school director, and Laura Galliera, education and human capital sector manager of Confindustria Brescia.

The 2020-2021 ITS training project hosts 24 students who passed selections to attend the two-year training program, a commitment in the classroom and beyond. In fact, the students are also called upon to carry out training activities by measuring themselves in actual work at partner companies. Dall'Era will also host students for an apprenticeship that can see the practical application of activities learned in the classroom.

Training project inspired by the German model

The ITS pathway for automation and industrial mechatronic systems is an alternative to university and is recognized at the European level. It is a training path for specialized figures in automation that companies like Dall'Era have shown appreciation for the duality of teaching, the theoretical part and the practical part. In fact, it is a project inspired by the German model with a curriculum in which around 50 percent of the teaching will come from companies and 800 hours of on-the-job training. The goal is the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical activity.
