Expansion of Sabbio Chiese office to include a green shed.
Expansion of Sabbio Chiese facility gets a green shed
A new production facility is added to the headquarters in Sabbio Chiese, in the province of Brescia. New spaces designed with energy-efficient criteria of which we are particularly proud. We are at an advanced stage of the long construction work, which started in September 2021 and with the first phase scheduled for delivery in September 2022. A plant that will combine a vocation for high-quality production with a low environmental impact. In fact, the structural solutions and choice of materials have been designed to minimize the impact the area will have on the surrounding environment when in full use.
Next-generation nuts will be produced in the near-zero-impact factory
Minimizing environmental impact is possible even in the case of an industrial warehouse-this was the goal of the property from the outset. From insulating the entire roof surface to coating the walls to ensure thermal insulation that is among the highest in the industry. In addition, a 1 MW photovoltaic system is being installed, capable of producing up to 1,200,000 Kwh/year. This is a very high energy capacity that serves to meet the power demand of an ever-increasing production of brass nuts and fittings. The increase in demand for Dall'Era's products is the result of an industrial policy that has always focused on the quality of the entire production chain, allowing the company to make its products known throughout the world. From brass quality to the finished part, we have always operated in accordance with international certifications and standards.
Additional 20,000 square meters of production area
Corporate policy choices continue to reward Dall'Era Valerio's growth in international markets, confirming an international vocation expressed over the past 30 years. We thus supply the most demanding multinationals in the fields of heating, civil and industrial plumbing, gas, valves and fittings, refrigeration and much more. When fully operational, the new production wing will house state-of-the-art machinery and equipment that contribute to the quality of the final fitting. In this logic, the new production hub fits in. A shed that includes not only energy-efficient thermal insulation and a large photovoltaic system, but also underfloor heating. Thus attributing a concrete overall energy improvement to the entire company headquarters. We are talking about an additional 19,000 square meters, 15,000 of which are above ground and 4,000 underground, looking ahead to the coming years.
